'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League comeback

Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is presently two years through the four-year deal he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.

The veteran forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the initial important achievement of his distinguished career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he once was, and would seriously think about prolonging his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had escaped him until he won the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
